![]() I searched internet and found older posts saying a 5100 k ECOSMART 65w flood light was best, but that was over 7-8 year old post and im wondering whats out there now thats best? I want cheap but does the job well it dosent matter on looks, Iv seen people put $600 LED light fixtures in the sump for the cheato and it dosent seem necessary.
Iv checked out local Home Depot and there dosent seem to be anything appealing as far as clamp on rust roof light bulb fixtures, had a hard time finding lights that even said the K on them but best i could find was 4100K flood light but no usuable fixture. |

![]() I have a par 38 LED floodlight that is 5300k from Home Depot. I just use an aluminum clamp light fixture for it.
Works fine. I'll see if I can find a link on the web. |

![]() I'm still using a 16w (65w equivalent) Phillips 6500k fluorescent and a simple socket, hanging over my fuge
Packaging doesn't say so, but the bulbs are stamped 6500k |

![]() I run a 6500k energy saving bulb. Think it's 13w equivalent to 60w. Comes on an hour before my lights go out at night an stays on an hour after they come on in the morning. So 8pm- 8am
