![]() People has success increasing Mg with kent Mg (only). Maybe give that a try? That's a proven solution.

![]() I also just realised my UV sterilizer bulb is done. Funny how I just ordered from J&L last week for some other stuff. I'll have to think of some other things to get to get the free shipping.
Would a dead UV sterilizer also contribute to the algae? |

![]() There is a lot of info if you google H2O2 or hydrogen peroxide dinoflagellates, but most suggest 10G per 1mL. I use a syringe and squirt it directly on the sand bed where the largest dino collection is.

![]() Sorry mike, I feel your pain. Dinos are a plague that I wouldn't wish on any fellow reefer. Different strains of Dinos respond differently to "proven" treatments, but the only thing that was effective for me was complete darkness for 7-10 days.
