![]() I took a couple out of my tank. I wish I was wearing gloves. I've never had a piece of turd in my hand but i'm sure thats what it feels like. Gross

![]() Yup hit it right on the head they are so weird to handle most species are not known to be poisonous or toxic to humans but if injured or killed can release toxins into the tank wiping it out in short order.

![]() I'm a bit squeamish about handling things that are covered with bacteria, mucus and the occasional irritating bristle worm. Sea cucumbers are rumoured to nuke a tank from time to time if they are sucked into a pump intake or are subjected to extreme stress. I've personally known only one person to have this partially happen with a sea apple.
