Securing eggcrate on top of tank.

I put eggcrate over my tank when I picked up a firefish.Like Deb said it was a PITA.The firefish was so skittish it would jump anytime someone
even moved in the room.It was so small it would fit through the squares
of the eggcrate,after picking it up off the floor a couple of times it finaly
jumped when I wasn't home and that was the end of the fish and the eggcrate. I only had him a week I dont know if all firefish are this jumpy,I'd like to get another but dont want it to happen again.
