Mike paletta (sp?) recommended a bracket/wires used for greenhouses (if you search mike paletta lighting experiment in YouTube it will come up). I too have 9' ceilings and I am not willing to drill into my ceiling or walls. I have a giesmann 48" light with 2 MH and 2 T5 bulbs so it's stupid heavy. I bought it used and the lady I bought mine from got 2 mental pipes from Home Depot and got them to bend it. It's mounted to the back of my stand with a u bracket with 2 lug nuts. Drilled 2 holes into my stand for every bracket (each pole has 2) and the top part of the pole was drilled big enough to fit the hanging hardware that is meant to fit into the ceiling. I LOVE it! And when we decide to upgrade to LED it will still work for those too.
If you want pics send me a PM and ill send you some.

We make 3 different types of brackets for hanging if you wanted to purchase something. Or use some of these as inspiration haha

How about something like this??

You could easily find someone locally to help you weld then powder coat.

Hope it helps!
