how old is the ro unit? how long until filters.membrane need to be replace?

I bought last year off a guy on here and I replaced the membrane then. I was doing weekly 5 gallon water changes per week. The other filters were replaced less than a couple months ago. I also put a needle valve on the waste line you you can get any size membrane and adjust it.
