I picked up some more gear for the 6D today because we plan on taking some good quality videos. I got a Canon EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye lens, Sennheiser MKE600 shotgun mic and Beachtek DXA-SLR Pro audio pre-amp.

It's amazing how high the video quality is on DSLR cams now but the audio is still lacking so an external mic and pre-amp is needed.

I have to say...that just looks like a toy I want to play with. The whole build is great!

Nice rig. I wonder what the video on the fisheye looks like. I probably woulda opted for a 35mm since it looks like you have quite a lot of space. Thats just me though

Thanks!

The 8-15mm fisheye lens wont be used for videos. I will use the 24-105mm lens.

Nice gear! How do you like the new 6d? It's nice to finally see Canon offering an affordable full frame camera. Have you tried the wifi capability on it yet?

I absolutely love it.

Picture quality is effortless. I may be able to achieve similar quality with my T3i but it requires more work. I am sure the higher quality glass helps.

The Wi-Fi feature works great on the iPad but I am not really impressed with the app. Canon only made the app work on the iPhone. You need to zoom the app 2X on the iPad. It would have been nice of them to make an iPad native app.

We received a shipment yesterday that included our return pumps (speedwave 1320) and skimmer (Vertex Alpha 250) so we were able to finish gluing all the plumbing.

We also got some Tunze waveboxes and Tunze 6255 pumps. The LPS systems will have two waveboxes and two 6255, the SPS system will have four 6255's. The 6255's are controllable from 1300gph to 4800gph each.

Today's task is to silicone one overflow box so that we can get 1 out of 4 tanks filled with water. It's getting close!!!!
