![]() My vote is larger as well (would love to run a big closed loop with a couple). I'm also waiting for someone to release a pressure rated DC pump for aquariums (they exist in other applications). Be nice to have one that could run a Beckett skimmer and or eductors.

![]() I was thinking bigger would be popular and was just told that 12000 is the biggest they can do for the time being(in DC).
But i did squeeze some numbers outa them. Would be nice to have a graph of where the head drops off... but the head is looking the same or better then most others out there at the moment. Not to mention the power usage is coming in quite low. MODEL DC-6000 DC-9000 DC-12000 Valtage 24V 24V 24V Watts 40W 70W 85W max draw 6000L/H 9000L/H 12000L/H max Head 11.8ft 14.1ft 15.75ft

![]() If my math is right, that's only roughly 400 gph for the 1200 with 14 feet of head. Too little for my needs

![]() Head is definitely better then the first gen dc pumps out there and pretty much the same as the new rlss ones that are coming. It would be nice if someone would get a larger dc pump with high head made for folks with the 2nd floor tanks. When i was playing with it i gave it about 9ft of head and it was still coming out pretty good. Have it running on my tank now and it is quite a performer and same sound as the dc5000 it replaced (little to none).

![]() I have had a dc12000 running for a bit now and my impressions are the following:
pros: -very powerful -1.5" in and out allows for hooking up proper sized plumbing and not losing head by reducing right out of the gate. -soft start ramps up after power loss or when coming back from feed mode. -feed mode @ 10min -control chip in controller (not the pump) which will allow for modding pump to be controlled by reef angel/apex/ect.. -value for the cost is great. cons: there is a hum which was mostly eliminated when i unattached return to aquarium from the wall it was vibrating against. But is louder then the RLSS dc5000 it replaced (not sure how it would compare to other pumps of similar size as i have always ran a dc5000). But there is definitely a hum that i am ok with but may not be ok for someone with a dead silent system. I have had a few requests for a picture of the control box open so people can figure out how to mod for full control. So here it is: ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() If I'm doing the math right on the Panworld...the flow seems almost nonexistent. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
I got the 9000 series version of the Jebao DC pump and it does very well. There is a hum that I'm hoping will diminish after a handful of days in use like it does in many other pumps. Overall build quality seems quite good. If they made a 20000 I would buy it in a heartbeat.
