Some saltwater hardware should not be skimped on
You'll find plenty of other things to buy cheaply, but get a good refractometer you can trust

My Vertex looks identical to some of the eBay refractometers. Consistency is more important then absolute accuracy. My vote is an eBay model if the price is good. Pick a popular model sold by a reputable seller.
