Plumbing pics!!!!

After dry fitting all the returns I removed the drain lines to better access the returns to glue them up.

Then proceeded to glue all the returns except the 1 inch gate valves as I want to do a little adjustment to them.

All righty then here we go with a small update...........

Lined the bottom & back with the same material used for shower surrounds......

Drilled 3 holes in each end of my sump tank for the pumps and put in the bulkheads & slide it under the tank. There are no baffles yet as Im waiting for my skimmer to arrive on the 15th.............

Installed 1st return pump & plumbed it the the second set of return holes from the left, all dry fit ATM. From the pump is a 1 1/2" swing check valve, then a 1" SCWD, a few 45* elbows, a union, gate valve and a few more 45* elbows ........

Second return pump plumbed to the first set of return holes from the left......

Gate valves on the inside of the bulkheads so close off the flow if I need to service the pumps........

Right side pumps plumbed same as the left side just not finished due to the fact I ran out of 45* elbows and so did my supplier so I have to find 11 more to finish the return pump plumbing & still have a little tweaking to do......

Full view with the drain lines finished with each of the main lines running to the sump separately except for the emergency drains......

Very nice build, are you installing baffles with the sump under the stand or removing the sump to do it?

Also it's not filled yet but in the pics I notices a piece of wood supporti g the sump but it doesn't go all the way. I guess you will be adding a piece to it later....

That is a piece of 1/2 styrofoam that will be replaced with a full 8' sheet when I pull the sump out to install the baffles.

It has been a challenge, I was going to use some 1" flex hose instead of all the 45* elbows but when I realized I was able to hard pipe it I was much happier with the out come.

Coming alone nicely though, the plumbing sure looks pretty.
The more valves the more control, I can cut the flow off in many areas for servicing the pumps or the check valves. Once everything is glued and straightened it will look just the way I have in-visioned it.

Jeepers DC addiction
I'd sure like to see this monster running in person when it's done, but that won't happen. Any travelling time is spent out of the country

Looking awesome Gregster
