I have just completed a water test tonight and it looks like I may have miscalculated the amount of salt needed...

Ca: 360
Mg: 1090
Alk: 5.6
PO4: 0
NO3: 0
PH: 7.99-8.07 ( have not calibrated the probe yet)
ORP: 325-360 ( have not calibrated the probe yet)
Salinity: 1.021
Temp: 79.8-80.0

Good news is that nitrate an phosphate are undetectable (0).

Will add more salt tonight and then retest in couple days.

Retested the Water tonight...


Ca: 380
Mg: 1050
Alk: 6.4
PO4: 0
NO3: 0
PH: 7.98-8.08 ( have not calibrated the probe yet)
ORP: 331-360 ( have not calibrated the probe yet)
Salinity: 1.024
Temp: 79.8-80.0

Salinity is acceptable, increase in Alk, slight increase in Ca and slight decrease in Mg. Set up the phosban reactor running biopellets and will be setting up the doser tomorrow to bring Ca, Mg and Alk up.

Just a small update. I've transferred the fish over to the main tank today. Looks like the transfer went well.
