I'd like to be next...my ex gf got me an 1 1/2"(about)red sea sail fin tang for my 33 gallon sps tank but he's going to my 65 gallon tank as soon as i'm done setting it up...is that acceptable?

No (5$8#()( way it is acceptable.

It is obvious way whe is your ex!

She left you the responsibility so be responsible and re-home the sail fin with someone who has a tank large enough to accommodate its need.s

IMO there is nothing wrong with people who are passionate about fish and want to see them kept in properly sized tanks. I also hope the upgrade is coming soon as IMO the fish seemed to be running out of space to swim properly in that tank.
