Nope. It seems that it is just tunze getting people that sell their products to stop selling the WPs as well (seems smart on their part). If it goes any further it may effect future sales. But any made before legal action(unlikely) will not be changed or slowed (unless they somehow get Jebao themselves to stop making/selling which will not happen).

Any idea how thick of glass the WP40 magnet can handle? I haven't seen that spec anywhere.

My tank is 19mm(3/4"), they hold just fine.
