They come in 5 meter roll that you can cut to size needed. 12 volt dc power supply and maybe even a dimmer & you're good to go. Take a look at posts 54 & 61 on page 2 of my DIY LED build. I used these strips to supplement my hight power LEDs. Mine are RGB, but you can get single colour cool whites that should do the job nicely. Link is down there by my sig block.
