The refugium is a diy aquaclear 70 so it isn't much of a fuge if I'm to be honest.

I don't know how to edit post but skimmer looks like it needs new pump, it doesn't make bubbles. Price drop to 10 dollars, replacement pump is 53 at jl.

have you open up the skimmer?

try to see if the tube is disconnected. i had that problem before. thought it was broken, JL told me to open it up and check, and behold tube was off. Sometimes through operation/cleaning the skimmer the tube gets dislodge
