Tyler your advice is good too. (in case you see this and feel left out).

Hahahaha naw. I agree that each tank large or small has its own challenges. They are all expensive though. Weird how that works.

I too have never heard this before. I ran nano for years and can't count those who helped out.

Are you sure it's not a personality conflict ?

I wonder... does anyone care enough to read signatures if you make them really small? I would not. I would probably moan and complain, read three words and swear once or twice. But since you made it this far, please rate my builds.

I would like to see them but my work and personal life schedule have been getting in the way and because I work shift and days off change every week gets a lil more challenging

I work with Shaun and he was the dope that got me into this and he gave me lots of literature which helped immensely and I did lots of reading on the net and getting keyboard face and tried not to ask the same questions as every other person has and unfortunately have had a rough start temp hand paralylis, partial tank kill,PITA cats and a few other things but the good news or sad news depending on how look at it is I'm hooked on SW

As I said I joined several forum sites to learn and before canreef I was on reef central and American Aquarists(that site is now down) and both flamed nano systems a lot then I joined Canreef and nano-reef both have helped me lots but found nano-reef to be very american do it my way or else still visit but never post

Aye and very impressive to boot only wish my tank could look half as impressive but for a first time setup I think I've done ok but I am probably going to be upgrading soonish to a 90 gallon and a whole new learning experience sumps/plumbing,overflows, new gadgets and tons of crying over an empty wallet

Out of the 9 colonies and frags I got 2 died soon after putting into my tank and the other 7 are doing fair to extremely well(frogspawn and hammer coral are getting friggen huge). I got 5 coral from aiptasia central(total pet) and 3 died from my partial tank melt down the other 2(Red and Green brain and purple xenia) are doing extremely well.

I run nanos. Much more challenging! Wish I could jump into a "big boy" tank but not financially feasible. It's all about preference and realistic goals for your tank. Simple setups but have had zero coral fatalities, and by god, they r fun!

Thing about RC is their huge, your gonna get yay's and nay's for random reasons, with that said there is a nano forumn and ime is pretty active with experience reefers. As far as keeping nanos is concerned I had more in my 25g then most in a tank 10 times its size and a lot of my coral and fish are for expert or advanced reefers.

Its not the size of the canvas the artist uses that makes the piece its how yje artist displays their gift, at the end of the day a piece of art is a piece of art.
