I've seen a cool brackish tank at riverfront with a strange assortment of everything from clowns to puffers and even some freshies in with them. Cool concept, for advice go and check it out at riverfront aquariums.

When I worked at a store in Virginia we always kept our SG at 1.015 in our brackish tanks.Other than that there is really no difference. You just got to know about the fish before you buy them. Some of them get huge and others are quite aggressive.

My boyfriend and I had a Brackish setup for puffers. I'm not sure if other people do it very differently or anything, but we were told to use freshwater salt and just mix it with the normal water. I forget the concentration we used, but it was as easy as that. The fish survived for a long time and seemed happy.
