I think ultimately all our ocean reefs will either become endangered or destroyed resulting in zero wild caught livestock. Supply and demand will then cause aquacultured livestock to skyrocket in price making marine aquariums unaffordable to the general public and thus halting any further advancement in technology due to the lack of market for it.

wow there is doom and gloom for ya .

This is likely to happen , but not in our lifetime .. and by then you will be able to 3D print a live tank inhabitant lol just kidding
