The answer to that is easy for me.
1-Some stores I just refuse to enter now. The service that I received from the employee's has turned me away. I have delt with Ray on several occasions, and every single time Ive been impressed with his service and attitude.

2-I do not live in town, so if I need something I have to drive in for it. Some things I need RFN, so off I go. For other things it comes to my door, for at most $10 shipping? Ill burn that in gas.

I'm new to this hobby. Got a established 10 gallon and now a 45 gallon with 25lbs rock I'm slowly getting ready. It's cycled and good to go but empty except rock. But now I'm curious as I'm needing salt is it better to order online or search lfs? Also a st albertan lol

Find our what kind of salt you want, then get it locally, shipping cost is expensive. Shop around.
