course substrate for burrowing wrasses?

I've had them in substrate other than sugar...such as....i actually prefer this 3/4 of the time. Caribsea seaflor Special Grade reef sand.....they have never had a problem with it...I had some wrasses for over 4 years in it...they buried themselves just like it was the sugar sand. Yes a Leopard Wrasse was one of them.
