Some Nice Japanese tanks.... Japanese tanks have their problems....but I like the fact that a lot of them do not have uniform lighting over the whole tank. I think a tank that is not lit up from end to end adds a certain depth an elegance to a tank, which a tank that just simply has the brightest lights over the greatest areas do no begin to achieve. |

![]() amazing how the nicest tanks are the ones with the spotless glass on all 4 sides.... those Japenese tanks are ridiculous!!! Thanks for sharing!

![]() I am very diligent about scraping the coraline off everything except my rocks. With a clean black (or bluish) acrylic background, it gives a stronger impression of depth.

![]() Long term, no. There is a person on reefcentral that tried it and succeeded for a few years, but now they have started to kill each other off. I talked with a different person on there as well that tried it with the same outcome. Considering clowns can live 25 years, a few years isn't really that successfull.
