My old Akita got cancer at 6 years old. The meds were $1000 a month. In the end it didn't help him much and had to put him down.

It's sad at the price they charge but some vets are better than others. My wife yorki has some loose teeth. The new getin town said she can pull them for 150 a tooth or let them fall out and give him antibiotics. Nice since she was honest and the antibiotics was cheaper way to go

Try having 10 dogs in the country where there are porcupines and then talk to me about vet bills

Some times they can be dequilled by me and my boy but when there in the roof of there mouth it's not worth getting bit by a Husky.

Ahhh, so sad! Sorry for your loss! We have 2 cats and a dog, if possible we try to take them to didsbury for check ups treatment! Half the cost of city vets!

Knock on wood, everyone is healthy but all are less than 4 years old.
