Default What is this?

These hollow tubes are cropping up all over my rock. They have a hair like stringy substance coming from them. This particular one is attached just below a mushroom

I have a couple attached to the tip of a birdsnest coral as well.

Thanks,
Dunc

With hairy like stringy substances coming from them I'd guess they are probably vermetid snails

I had a look at a couple of pics and it would seen like vermatid snails could be it. They are even perching atop my SPS corals and look like they are killing off the tips.

Are these guys a dangers to my corals? I see a spider web type design on my rocks and corals from time to time.
