Default Sample DSLR pics with GHL Mitras

The new lights are not hooked up yet (probably wont be able to until after next week) but I just couldn't resist taking some new pics with the new lights... These new lights are definitely the right set of lights for my tank and my camera. Compared to previous pics I find the Mitras make the pictures come out even warmer than before, much like taking pics of corals under T5s...

Great pics as per usual man! Sorry if I missed it but what were you running prior to the Mitras?

Thanks. I currently have 3 Radions above the tank. Hope to have the Mitras up soon! I am in process of planning my second tank in the garage. Once the 2nd tank is up the main display will be going through a change... Stay tune...

Not much to update but I was thinking of strawberry shortcake today so it made me think about the SSC frags in my tank so I took a few iPhone pics of them...

This frag is now two yrs old and it is finally starting to come alive!

This one is from Snappy and has a fancy name like purple poison SC or something like that... Starting to see green purple and pink!

At this rate of growth they won't be any bigger than a mini colony when I am 80.

Wayne, that ssc sure is coming alive. Can't believe that's year of growth. Love to hate it.

Yep it is definitely a love hate relationship. How are your SSC and what are the growth rates like?
