So unfortunately I've realized that between running Modular LED and a full time job I basically have zero time for anything haha. My DIY LED project has been on hold (oh the irony) for a little while and I have all these boxes of AI Vegas sitting around ugh... too tempting.

Well some of my corals are not looking to happy lately and I have been keeping them going with several LED quick fixes with a Sol, some Ecoxotic Panorama Pros and my old DIY fixtures.

Cue Vegaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

I modified some AI Sol rails (4 foot) adding the pocket door kit wheels

Next the Vega array.

Put them on the tank:

And wa-la 1 hour later I finally have a decent LED system. I can't believe how bright it is, (4 might be overkill).

Will take some pics tomorrow of the tank. Its growing in nicely.

Some iPhone pics. Photoshop not working so no color correction.

Very cool. Never would have thought of pocket door wheels for a sliding rack. Gonna have to put that in the back corner of my brain for when I finally get my build going.

Yes and if you use two kits one the opposite direction you can get total sliding control, mine is just front to back. I wanted to be able to push it back out of the way to get into the tank and to be able to slide it out completely for maintenance.

Thought I would post a few pics a few weeks after installing the new AI Vega system. Absolutely loving these LEDs and its showing the coral too. Better colors and getting good growth now.

I have also started dosing Sponge Power and it is definitely improving the color of the coral also. Sorry about the quality I only have my iPhone.
