![]() I have had an algae that looks like that, I think it was a life stage of one of the common ones as I see it now and then but only for a short while. Hard to say from the pic, but if it has a green stock that does NOT mat onto the rocks and join with the neighbours I would say it is algae and not Zoas or palys. Hard to say from the pic though.
