Ph normal 8.2
Hermit crabs are moving in on her and she's still breathing. Barely. I'm gonna go ahead and call this one a goner.. had her over a year.

Do I wait a bit? Let her suffer? Or drip some clove oil in a cup with tank water and put her to sleep?

Seem to be. They're all eating and swimming around like nothing happened that's what's so weird about it. I wonder what could have caused her to die with in 2 hours after being (seemingly) fine all day...

is it possible a chunk of food got stuck in her mouth causing her to drown?

Sorry for your loss, I had a freshwater fish die almost exactly the same way, just after I fed the tank, I think it got a large piece of food stuck and drown as well. That really sucks!
