Where can I buy pure ammonia for cycling a tank ?

Don't laugh, but when no one is looking take a leak in the tank. Urine contains ammonia. Make sure the tank is grounded<g>

Buy a couple tiger prawns from your local grocery store and toss them in your tank. They will decay, creating natural ammonia and your tank will cycle in no time. Cost you less than $0.50.

I assume you will have sand and rock in the tank to help promote the breakdown of the ammonia and complete the cycle?

I used a pure ammonia cleaning solution purchased from Wal Mart.

Look for no-name brands; the cheaper ones are usually fragrance free. Can always shake the bottle and see if it foams - if it does it has crap in it.
