Agreed put the sump on some rigid foam, doesn't have to be perfectly level but needs to be evenly supported as the concrete won't be flat, it never is.

Might be scratches on the glass for being shifted into place on the floor.. Hard to say.

Definitely get some pink insulation board under there ..

Personally, I would... it would be extra protection for the glass and insulation against heat loss in the winter months..
