There is about a 1" gap all the way around the bulb and after hours of being on nothing is more than luke warm.

Thank you for the concern though! There are a lot of zoa frags hidden in this tank too. I have yet to get good pictures of them though.

Pink Elephants, Peach Paly, PPE and some Green Paly

Candy Apple Red, Forget the Name of the Green Paly. Orange Crush Zoas and the Red Paly aren't looking to hot now.

Lunar Eclipse Paly, What I was told were Jokers Paly but I have my doubts, and whatever the purple and yellow rimmed ones are called. Eye of Rah?

i run a nuvo16 aswell, what return pump did you upgrade too?

I run dual maxi jet 1200s. One per return. I took the stock pump and am using it for my phosban reactor.

Well I finally got my DIY skimmer running. I didn't grab any photos of the build, I was a little worried if it was going to work. Its basically just an airstone driven skimmer.

I took a video of its foaming action. Hope it pulls out some good skimmate. Don't know how to embed it though...

I also hooked up my dosing unit and will have that running in the coming days to make sure I don't have any alk swings as the sps are already encrusting things.

A few more random shots and new additions. Who knew my phone could shoot macros!
