Only thing I'll add is, if you're looking for less pump output ...
Either, bypass the output back to the ATO tank with a T and a valve, or, buy a smaller pump

I've never used a JBJ unit, so sorry I can't help further

Thanks for the suggestion Greg

I don't think MJ1200 has too much flow, just wanted to narrow down the flow so that I don't get too much splash in the water. If I am not still satisfied, I will put a T-junction like you said

So do as I did in the pic I posted and put a larger hose over the ATO feed hose

One thing I found when trying to cut back my MJ1200 is they get noisy. If you find that, do like Gregzz said and either run a bypass (basically a "T" with one going back into your sump) or get a smaller pump.
