Default LS - How to keep alive ?

I have 70lbs of live sand coming from another reefer a, but I'm not quite ready for it yet . What do I need to do to keep it alive for 3 - 4 days ?

Ya I agree with Lostmind. Should be fine in a bucket with saltwater a heater and a small power head

One thing to keep in mind is that you'll end up with a die off of bacteria with in a few inches of the top of the bucket.. I'd say just wash it and start it over.. unless you need the live sand

I wouldn't wash it. When storing it try to keep the sandbed depth fairly low otherwise you might get huge anaerobic zones. It would be best to keep as much as you could alive but, if not, save a little and wash the rest... it won't take long before the washed sand is "live" again when mixed with the old stuff.
