No real way without bolting or screwing something to the pedestal no.

I am getting some glass for a cover when the tank is finally ready and would like the MH to sit on top of it since I can't hang it from the ceiling.

I did something like this image below. It is EMT conduit from Home Depot bent to shape and spray painted. With a pedestal stand you could put extra bends to make it around the lip of the stand.
