Yeah I know. Right after this 20 goes in I have another batch of 20 RO ready to mix, heat and dump. I was thinking probably 3-4 batches of 20 gal over the next few days.

Just thought i'd keep this thread going. I added 2 fluke tabs I got from a fellow canreefer last night at 10:00 after catching my shrimps and putting in another tank. My tank is infested with clove polyps and today is the first time I have never seen them open. I'm hoping they are all dead and gone after 4 days.

Bill, with mine, dead yes, gone no. I had to brush them all off with a toothbrush. Not fun.

Oh really? Well crap. They're in every nook and cranny. I'll wait for day 4 and scrub them with a denture brush. It's way stiffer than a toothbrush. So they've never returned? And is it necessary to scrub off the matting or does it eventually disappear?

I scrubbed right to bare rock. It wasn't bad and a toothbrush did the job fine. Probably better than a stiffer brush, as it flexes into the crevices. Took about 15 minutes to brush them all off.
So far, nothing has come back.

Oh cool thanks. I usually use a paring knife when my wifes not looking. I hate clove polyps! I'm glad this works as i've often thought of ripping my tank down and starting over due to them.
