I have nothing but great things to say about Costa Rica. If all goes well, I'll be moving there when I retire.

Bahamas is an excellent adventure, Eluthera or Paradise islands are great and accessible. The snorkeling in the early nineties was great, can't say how it is now.

French Guadeloupe was fantastic for a couple but the one reef we checked out was 99% dead when we visited last year. Shame.
