No, they are definitely not in the same league. It's more like deciding between 1000W halides and 400W halides. I'm just trying to figure out if the high-PAR fixtures are best suited to bigger tanks. I just have a wee little reef. Not being limited is always a nice thing, but I'm just not sure yet.

you are paying for the ability to be able to adjust the light including PAR to your own requirments

When i go to the USA or down South I need to get a t-dhirt that has a cork dangle hat and wording in red crossing it saying "NO I AM NOT FRIGGIN AUSTRALIAN"

Haha, you didn't sound Australian to me at all. I can do a really good Brit accent though!

I might have done an Aussie accent just before I did my Brit accent... can't remember.
