Few of them were in the top 50 ... only a 1000A$ to join and there are almost 50 of them ! ... a good alliance to back you up will go a long way ... there is a staggered start time setup similar to what we are thinking ... I am leaning that way

There is no " feeding " the top guy and they will come to the rescue if you are in need


most of the strategy I used in Beta 5 I got from the Nemo's at RC

ummm, so whats the benefits of being in an alliance besides someone to resuce your ass if you are in trouble?

Just curious, do I get any bonuses for being in an alliance? I never was in one.

If you say the word I will also go that way. How many of us are there in this group and our friends. I would have four or five non- Canreefers who would join us?

The alliance as a whole has a chance to win the game ( 450 points for only 3 days I believe ) ... easy to setup Trade Agreements


if I think of anything else I will let you know but that alone is good enough for me

I think a helping hand is the only real benifit, not 100% sure however.

being in an alliance gives yout he opportunity to learn as well. We may be better able to really kick come butt in our own allience after being in one ourselves. The nemos are a fairly respected group on Astrowars, it would be a great place to start.

Alliences can also help you expand and increase your level. Often people who are allied will toss small fleets at you and vice versa in order to boost your level.

It's all good Dave ... I figure that I will give it a go for Beta 6 and see how it turns out ... what do you think ?
