36" dual bulb light strip was $50, now $40 Hexagonal 38 gal tank & stand was $150, now $125 159 GPH powerhead ($15) and air pump ($10) still for sale, but small enough that I don't mind throwing into my spare parts box. |

Would that small pump be good for providing some additional flow for a refugium or would it chop up the little beasties?

My bad, I mean to feed a raised refugium from the inflow area of the sump and was wondering just how much flow comes out, but I had a neuron glitch and asked the question the wrong way around.

I don't think you have to worry about it being excessively powerful.
it's rated 159 gallons per hour. Compared to Hydor's nano powerhead, which is comparable but rated 240 gph. So this will do the job, and you don't have to drop $40 on a new pump |
