No don't "need it" but I wouldn't trade my 5D Mark II for a point and shoot! I think the most important is using custom white balance and a Expodisk. What settings did you use ? Apature shutter, speed, iso? |

![]() I shoot raw under Actinic lights, and let me tell you in photoshop there is no way I can get the pics to look true to life without using custom white balance!

If you shoot with a blue gel on your flash and a yellow filter on the lens you'll get the most real colors |
