![]() Though I like the look of that pump, its a bit out of my price range. Ive been looking at pumps like the sedra ksp20000. Opinions?

![]() Poseidon/Velocity PS4/T4 is a very quiet pump close to the gph range you are looking for. It will add heat to the water though, good in the winter, not so during a hot summer.

![]() Maybe this might be more a fit at the pricing you're looking at: http://www.goreef.com/Water-Blaster-...p-1300GPH.html
I personally don't like Sedra's...I've had three and all have failed after the impeller's swelled within the first 6 months. All got warranty, and all replacement impellers swelled again. Just not great quality if you ask me.

![]() ANy more suggestions. I need to replace my 9.5 mag with something comparable. What is the best option. I will need a pump soon as the 9.5 has stopped twice.

![]() I've got one of those. Great pump and quiet. Used to run a Mag 1800 and the Sedra is way better. My sump is in the basement, and it pumps the return up to the main floor. Plus I have several T's from it to my chiller, Bio-pellet reactor, and carbon and GFO media reactors, all from the same pump. With the Mag 1800 it could barely pump enough flow up to the display tank upstairs, and had to have separate pumps for the other things in my sump.

![]() What reactors are you running ?
If you don't ever need to adjust your reactor flow rates, nevermind ![]() I know you're looking for 15-1800gph, but ... An Eheim 1262 would nicely replace your Mag 9.5 just as a return pump. I run mine internal on a 1" pad and it's virtually silent. I tried running multiple assessories on one pump and had level adjustment issues. I ran one pump for my UV, Chiller, 'Fuge and 2 x TLF 150s. Everytime I had to adjust the flow to one of my reactors, it would mess up my fuge level. |
