![]() Makes sock changes easier
I would imagine it's also a good place to grab critters that went down the waterslide ![]() Last edited by gregzz4; 09-14-2012 at 10:49 PM. |

![]() That's a hell of a clean sump setup gregzz. What wattage are your heaters? 5 seems excessive for a 75G tank.

Thanks J ![]() I get that 'heater' comment a lot ![]() I have 110g total water with 3 x 200w ( 5.45 watts per gallon ) on a Reefkeeper Elite set to 79f Our house sits at about 68f when it's not warm out, and the 600 watts makes it easier to keep the tank stable The other heaters are 2 x 250w on a Ranco set to 78f in case the RKE fails, or the 200w circuit trips the GFCI If one 200w goes down on it's own, the other 2 can still heat the tank without too much work, and I'm not relying on 1 x 500w, or 1 x 1000w, that could fail and cause a crash I'm all about backups and redundancy ![]() With my heaters and chiller, and programming, the tank cycles between 79.0 and 79.4 |
