Well thanks for jumpin' in
Mine's slowed down too now, thankfully. I have some dudes in the QT and it will be nearing the end of Nov before they go in the DT. Talk about being patient - yikes

Smudge is doing very well thanks. He's the king of the tank right now, but the biggest scaredy-cat err fox, and the biggest PIGGY I've ever seen. He eats like a freshwater Pike cichlid. Dart, gobble, oh look more over there, dart, gobble, oh you can't have that it's mine, dart, dart, dart

I haven't seen an update on yours - did it make it through after the powerhead traction ?

Nothin' like havin' to do nothin' with your tank but sit back and enjoy
Once I get these guys outta the QT I'll be able to set a lot of this on ignore

Although ... there are still a lot of corals and such I want

Your entire build has been methodical and full of patience, I'm sure the qt time will go by quickly. looks to me in my very limited experience you are doing everything the right way. A great build thread to watch and follow, always watching your updates.

No updates on my tank worth posting. Dealing with another outbreak of cyano, seems to be clearing up. Interest comes and goes. I get panicky about things and having shut down thoughts so I figure leaving it alone ( just maintenance) not adding anything and letting it settle is best for now.

So happy smudge is doing well! Mine didn't make it. After getting stuck to the power head a second time, I put him in a small breeder container I had, floated it in the sump but didn't put the lid on it. He got out and when I got home yesterday he was stuck to the intake of my gfo reactor pump and dead. I will try another one but might put it in my smaller tank to start, they seem like a very gentle fish and might be a good idea to have it with less aggressive eaters for a bit.

Keep the updates coming

Here's a couple new pics of Smudge - maybe I should rename him Pudge

He just went through a 2" square of purple nori in less than 5 mins

Ack, Photobucket is acting up
I'll get the pics up soon

I just got home from J&L a little while ago and am acclimating a Kole to go into QT with the gramma and firefish

Be a nice surprise for Donna when she gets home tonight

Corals are looking very happy
I moved the yumas into some shade and they are coming back to life, but I can't show you right now 'cause P-bucket isn't uploading

I'll be getting some growth pics up soon too when I get some more patience

Once you buy a new place I know who'll be getting some bigger fish
