I'll start with a phone call I just got from my grandma who is 96 and has dementia.

Me: Hello grandma, how are you?

Grandma: Oh it's Laurie you're at your mom's?

Me: Nope I'm at home

Grandma: Oh I pressed 6 (she has speed dials programed) and I got you not
your mom, that's funny how that happens

Me: That's ok, are you trying to call mom?

Grandma: Yes and your Aunt but I can't figure out the phone to get a hold of them and I'm lonely. Oh and how are you?

Me: I'm good, how are you?

Grandma: I'm ok but I'm having trouble getting a hold of someone, I told you who those someones were right? Can you call those someones for me and have them call me back I'm having troubles doing it myself.

Me: Sure Grandma

priceless Laurie, when I was home for my nephew's wedding my da was there and he has alziemers, so i was taking with him when we were eating and he was telling me how much he hates salt. then were talking about something else then he ask me for the salt. he tells me how much he loves salt. funny thou....
