the tank is 18 wide and 22 high 6 foot. budget dont really have one. dont know if i want to go with 3 24" fixtures. or 2 36" fixtures.. i would rather do fixture then diy..

The only foreseeable problem when buying these is replacement parts and warranty. If something goes haywire, ur stuck with a huge wait time for repair/replacement, or another thing ur wife can nag on u about (money waister!)

yes the wait time on replacement would suck. but i would probably buy 3 and have one as a spare for back up. can these fixtures be strong to have sps on the bottom and keep clams and such.. thanks all for the help..

as far as the less expensive Chinese lights go, these ones have had quite a few good reviews and have a reasonable warranty. If you look on RC there is a pretty substantial thread going over the whole Chinese led thing.
