![]() they need to be fed they are not photosynthetic so get nothing from lights. drip system or target feedings are required to keep one long term ![]()

![]() i have a 2 headed dendo, feed maybe once a month but is always open... bout 3 years in my tank. if i feed more will i get more heads?

absolutely , dendros can go alot longer without food. if you feed it reguarily it will grow ive grown mine up to 30-40 heads and ive fragged it several times. dendros can be trained to stay out all the time ![]()

![]() my sun coral loves my tank, they like shady areas, not direct light, i never feed mine, i just broadcast feed with my fish food..my nitrates are far from good too.. they sit bout 10-20 ppm
seems to me they usually open 20 min before lights go off and fully bloom after lights are off,, but mine have opened threwout day sometimes Last edited by acepumping; 08-30-2012 at 03:23 AM. |
