thanks man, the plan is to trim what can be trimmed and let the rest grow into each other, for the most part the tree is zoas but therse a good mix of chalices and favias and other lps in there as well. the origional plan was to do a favia and chalice tank....but i am just to addicted to the little colorful polyps lol

my one concern is my elegance not sure how long i can keep it in there, although they are an aggressive coral ive been lucky in that whats in the bonzai tank doesnt seem to get affected by the sting. but the soft flesh is pushing up against the tree when its expanded under the halides.

im going to play it by ear, i really dont want to part with my elegance, when i got it it was maybe 6" and had 5-6 mouths, right now its over 16" long and has around 20-25 mouths lol im debating on whether or not i should frag it as well.

elegance has been my coral over the years that i couldnt keep ,its hard to find one thats healthy(doesnt have ECS) and its taken alot of trial and error in finding what makes them tick

Yeah, I had a hard time selling my elegance but it just grew too big and took up too much space on the sandbed (needed room for more znp's). I just picked up another one and trying to keep it small by not target feeding it.

ive wanted one of these for years but finding a pair that has adapted to prepared starfish is a bit tricky, i can take no credit though the previous owner trained them
