Can you bring your test kits over to a friends place locally to test against their kit and water parameters?

![]() I'm out of the API test. The Seachem one was 1/2 price at a local shop, so I figured I'd try it instead of the API one.
I can certainly get a second opinion on my calcium level, and find other water to test. |

![]() Never had any luck with the API kit for the same reasons you describe, always read artificially high by at least 100-200ppm. Tried 2 API kits and both had the same issue.
