![]() So make a fair offer, one based on research and what you are willing to pay for it.

![]() That doesn't make sense. The person selling should be doing the research and determining a fair price based on the condition of the item they're selling.

![]() Is it not mandatory to post asking prices in any "for sale" thread on Canreef?
On a side note: If you're going to make an offer on anything, especially an offer substantially lower than asking price, learn how to send a PM. Seems to be a theme lately... |

![]() It is, but it's not one of the the rules the mods generally enforce.

![]() My only beef is when people post something for sale but don't put their location in the title. I don't like it when something looks appealing and I click on it only to learn they're thousands of kilometers away. It's not a big deal, but since we're whining about stuff I just thought I'd pipe in LOL.

If you want it make a reasonable offer, otherwise giggle and say to yourself "they'll never sell it that way" and move on |

![]() The same used item could be for sale on twenty different sites for 20 different prices. I've bought a number of items over the years were people just said "make an offer". So I place an offer for a little less than I would expect to pay and generally they accept and I get a good deal! I find most of these people just want to clear up the clutter and just don't know how much to ask. The odd one will come back with too high of a counter offer and you just gotta say "no, thanks" and move on. The condition of an item is also in the eye of the beholder.
