Would it eat a small fish like a Tailspot Blenny or firefish? How big does the tank have to be to house one of these happily?

firefish maybe, but not likely as these eels have tiny mouths. only animal I have ever seen them eat is a snail

so its not really reef safe if its going to eat snails and crabs
