![]() That is the copy of Snow Leopard it came with (v10.6.3), My 9,1 came with 10.6 if that means anything.
Here is the ram I pulled out: Hynix 1GB 2Rx8 PC2-5300S-555-12 Kingston KTA - MB800/1G |

Now with the install DVD, that is great news you have the right copy. **Before removing the Ram, you should follow this guide to run the Apple Hardware Test http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1509 *** Basically you have to hold down the "D" key while you press the power button, this will take you to the special diagnostic mode that will check the Ram, CPU, GPU and bus controllers. I would run the hardware test first, see if you get some errors, if not that I would remove the Hynix ram and run the computer to see if that solves the problem. |

![]() I pulled the ram to find out what they were and now I can't get them to seat properly, I pushed them in and the little arms won't go back in.
